Associate Professors Kate Best and Sam Relton from University of Leeds, authors on the recently updated electronic frailty index used across primary care practices in the UK, will run through the key steps in how to develop a frailty index using routine electronic health record data, including: (1)data cleaning and data preparation; (2) coding; (3) description analysis; and (4) survival analysis.
